FAVORITE THINGS ABOUT MY HOMETOWN/COUNTRY:
My
most favorite thing about my country is, no matter where you go on this
earth you will always have that feeling of home whenever you return. I
love The Bahamas not only because it is considered "paradise" by many
but because I am proud to call it home. This country makes me who I am.

LIFE’S AMBITIONS:
My
life ambition is to be successful in everything I do. When I look back
on my life I would like to be able to feel like I made a difference in
someone's life.

HOBBIES:
Reading, running, staying fit, web surfing, meeting new people, learning

MY GOALS IN LIFE:
In
five years I would hopefully like to accomplish all the goals I have
set out for myself. Which include, being crowned Miss Bahamas,
graduating from Graduate School with my Masters in Social Work and my
MBA and finally opening a center where youth and young adults can come
together and mentor one another.

MY BEST ASSET IS:
My best
asset is my empathy. It helps me relate to others, whether it be because
of a joy or pain. Once you are able to relate to other people you form a
bond with them that can potentially last forever.

MY DAILY PHILOSOPHY IS:
My
daily philosophies are, and I live by these quotes: "Treat others as
you want to be treated" and "Why take second place when first is open.
If you do this you'll have a tendency to do it for the rest of your
life".

THE MOVIE (AND/OR BOOK) THAT MOST INFLUENCED MY LIFE:
The
movie that most influenced my life would have to be 'Remember the
Titans". This movie taught me not only how to embrace change but to look
past the exterior of a person. We are all one, despite race,
nationality, religion or sexual preference and to reach a common goal we
must always work together as a team.

WHO I WOULD LIKE TO MEET AND WHY:
There
are three people I would like to meet: Tyler Perry, The Obamas and
Oprah Winfrey. I would like to meet them because they did not allow
their circumstances to dictate who they were and what they were able to
achieve.

I AM MOTIVATED BY:
I am motivated by myself. Each
day I wake up I want to become a better person than I was the day
before; spirituality, mentally, physically and emotionally. Not only for
myself but also to benefit the people I will be in contact with on a
daily basis.

WHAT IS THE MOST UNUSUAL THING YOU HAVE EVER DONE?
The most unusual thing I have probably ever done was entering this contest.

BRIEFLY DESCRIBE THE MOMENT IN YOUR LIFE YOU ARE MOST PROUD OF:
The moment in my life I was most proud of was the day I graduated from college.

WHAT I WOULD LIKE THE JUDGES TO KNOW ABOUT ME:
I
have been featured as the Tribune's Athlete of the week in 2004. I also
represented the Bahamas in the 2005 Carifta Games where I obtained a
silver and bronze medal in the heptathlon and 4X4 relay respectively.
During College, I was one of the founding members of Mckendree
University's International Student Organization and a member of the
University's Black Student Organization.

Bachelors of Business Administration with a minor in Management and Psychology
Track and Field Scholarship
